On Saturday the 28th at 1:00pm, four Conventual Franciscan friars from D.C. Maryland took the challenge of plunging into the Chesapeake bay to support the Special Olympics for 2017.
Together raising $530 by reaching out to friends, family and other generous donors they were able to contribute to the two million dollars the Polar Bear Plunge for Maryland raised in total. With many prayers and support they were able to accomplish the challenge without any harm!
